Tried it so you don’t have to!
The staff was friendly and attentive, making our stay enjoyable. We had a great breakfast experience with excellent service, and the ambiance was lovely.
The resort feels dated, and maintenance issues like dirty AC units and noisy neighbors detracted from the experience.

Charming Retreat with Room for Improvement
Our stay here felt nostalgic, especially as we celebrated 40 years together. The lounges offered great games, and the pool was inviting. However, the room had some maintenance issues, like a cracked shower and outdated decor. Dining at Spooners was delightful, though service could be more attentive. Request upgrades for the best experience!

great activities but some room for improvement
The dinner entertainment exceeded my expectations, providing a fantastic atmosphere each evening. The indoor game area was a highlight, packed with engaging options that made for a fun time. I particularly enjoyed the jewelry hunt, which added an interesting twist to our stay.
Our room lacked some basic amenities that were expected.

We had an amazing time biking through the beautiful Lehigh Gorge Rail-Trail, where the scenery along the river kept us all mesmerized. The kids, and even our dog, loved the various indoor activities available, which really helped us make the most of our stay together.
My kids wished there were more family-friendly dining options available for kids. It would be great to have a menu tailored to younger guests.

Heated indoor pools and well-kept mini-golf added to a fun atmosphere, while the friendly staff made for an enjoyable experience. However, the mildew smell in the Juliette room was overwhelming, and the cleanliness left much to be desired, with hairs found under the bed and stains on the carpet. Although the resort offered great dining alternatives at Spooner's, the burger was decent, but other food options fell flat, such as the inedible onion rings.

The Juliette Suite offers a romantic atmosphere, featuring a heart-shaped Jacuzzi and a fireplace that adds a cozy touch.
The property feels noticeably outdated, with the overall cleanliness leaving something to be desired—especially in the shower and in-room hot tub. Activities during the week were pretty low-key, and the tiki bar was closed for our entire stay, limiting dining options and evening fun. Without microwaves in the room, keeping leftovers from meals was a hassle, forcing us off-site to find more food options beyond the bar menu. Parking became an issue during busy entertainment nights, requiring a trek back to the room. A little more upkeep and modernization would really elevate this experience.

We loved relaxing in the indoor pool and feeding the deer during our stay! The massage and the jacuzzi were perfect for unwinding after a long day. Just a heads up, the TVs were acting up on our first night, but it didn't dampen our experience. 🦌
